ABOUT LETY CARVAJAL

am a former Miami-Dade County Charter School
I teacher with over 20 years of experience in the
field of early childhood education. I have a Bachelor
of Science degree in Elementary Education from
Nova Southeastern University and a Master of Sci-
ence degree in Educational Leadership from St.
Thomas University.
I started Springview Academy in 2014 to use my
classroom experience to create a center that provides
students with a holistic and loving childhood experi-
ence that concentrates on citizenship building, inde-
pendence strengthening, technology and preparation
for elementary school and beyond.
In 2015, I opened Springview Academy of Hiale-
ah, which went on to become an Early Head Start
program. Operating an Early Head Start program
