Page 13 - Choosing a Child Care Center
P. 13
FOREWORD
“You’ve seen one daycare, you’ve seen them all.”
“All preschools are essentially the same—
it’s just expensive babysitting.”
ave you ever thought this to yourself? Or maybe
H you’ve been told these types of things from co-
workers or friends. I used to think that all child care
centers were essentially copycat look-alikes of one
another. They all seemed to have the same pricing,
the same offerings, even the same “Now Enrolling”
sign out front. It was a challenge to know how to
choose the best one for my kids and my family. To
make things worse, as a mom with two young chil-
dren, my cost of sending them both to preschool was
more than our home mortgage each month.
