CHOOSING A CHILD CARE CENTER
nearly as much as you do. (Though, of course, you’ll
always love them the most!) This is one reason that
online reviews are so important. A waiting list is
another good sign that a school is popular and well-
liked by the families in your community. While it may
be a bit of a frustration, people lining up to get in
proves that the quality of the school is very high!
After your initial internet search, if everything
checks out online, set up a tour to finalize your deci-
sion and opinion of the school.
When looking for a quality program, here are
some things to consider and ask when you visit:
1. How long has the center been in business?
2. What are the teacher/student ratios in each
age group?
3. Is the center licensed and/or accredited?
4. How many children does the facility cur-
rently serve, and what is the licensed capaci-
ty?
5. Is there space for your child(ren) currently,
and is there a waiting list?
