Many parents and family members are led to believe
that the two most important factors in this decision
are fairly simple: location and cost. With that idea in
their mind, they come to this important decision not
truly knowing what to look for and the importance of
reviews and recommendations from people in the
community.
This book was written to help remove the fear,
anxiety, uncertainty and even guilt from the process
of choosing the right child care program. If you are
someone who agrees with the following points, this
book is for you:
1. You want the best for your child.
2. You want your child to be well-prepared for
kindergarten and elementary school.
3. You want your child to have the social-
emotional tools to get along with others and
self-regulate their own behavior.
4. You want fun and joyful experiences for
your family.
5. You and your family are ready to give full
support for your child to be successful.
6. You believe in community partnerships with
other adults who are your child’s teachers
and caregivers.
