CHOOSING A CHILD CARE CENTER

In this environment, children are allowed to play
freely with natural materials and creative toys. Little
ones follow their interests wherever they lead, build-
ing confidence and encouraging discovery and explo-
ration. There are usually a wide range of play-based
activities along with educational lessons in such a
program. This philosophy allows children to become
curious and excited about things they are interested
in. Children develop problem-solving skills and learn
how to cooperate with others and resolve conflicts.
When a child is offered the opportunity to take an
active role in their learning rather than simply being
taught from the front of the room, it encourages their
natural curiosity and penchant for growth and explo-
ration. This keeps kids engaged while spurring on
              their development.
Learning in a secure, loving environment with a
daily schedule helps children flourish and learn.
When little ones feel at ease, they’re better able to
explore their surroundings, try things, make mis-
takes, and grow in their understanding of the world.
Play-based programs often focus on artistic
projects that allow children to express themselves
through music, drama, and dance. This encourages
children to understand and name their emotions as
well as express themselves creatively. Artistic expres-
sion aids in memory, speaking skills, emotional
