often than not that if family members bring an issue
or concern to the attention of teachers/
administrators and they are given the opportunity to
address it/correct it, a favorable resolution can be
         concluded between the two parties.
When enrolling your child into a child care pro-
gram, you are enrolling you and your family into a
partnership with that school and working together
with them to set your child up for success. While
teachers focus on child development in the class-
room, a child never takes a break from developing
and continues to do so at home. Because of this, as a
parent, you will need to continue to support and
encourage your child's development outside of the
classroom and in your home and utilize any helpful
resources that your center provides you with to guide
         you through this.
Just as teachers are expected to provide family
members with developmental and milestone updates,
family members are expected to provide the same
updates to their child’s teachers so they can ade-
quately monitor the child and continue to push their
         development forward.
Not only should you feel comfortable and pleased
with the communication that the center has with the
families and children that they care for, but you
should also observe a strong sense of inner-team
