environment that is structured to keep your child
safe. Living in a post-pandemic world, it is important
that your child care center clearly communicates and
demonstrates recommended and extra precautionary
health and safety measures. A complete Health and
Safety Policy in the form of a Policy Handbook should
be provided to family members upon touring.
Typically, to keep children healthy and to avoid
spreading sickness, children that exhibit a fever and
signs of illness are either sent home or asked not to
attend until they are fever and symptom-free for 24
hours. While this may be a temporary burden and
inconvenience to the family members of the sick
child, it is hoped that they understand that this policy
